I’ve been at Woot.com since last night and I’m trying to score a decent Ultra ATA-100 hard disk drive for cheap. Ordinarily, Woot would sell one item at a time per day until they run out. Today, they are having their Woot-Out marathon in which they sell a series of stuff until they deign to end the sale. Best of all, they sell these grab-bag specials called “Bags of Crap” (aka Bandolier of Carrots, Bulgarian Olympic Committee, Blinged-Out Cabbage) in which you buy up to three for a buck each plus $5 shipping and handling. For eight bux, you can make out like a bandit. Well, see you guys later…I’ll let you know if I got some spiffy stuff. 
ADDENDA: I got three Bags of Crap, for 8 dollars total including S&H. What’s inside can be anyone’s guess. Reported items include cheapo trinkets like glitter pens, a camera case, iPod accessories, and office gadgets. Occasionally, someone might get a toaster or even a DVD player. When I get my set, I’ll take pics for everyone to look and laugh.
BTW, The Bandoliers were the second to last item offered in the Woot-Off, after the sage-colored Roomba and a USB speaker in a form of a pig. That’s right: pig-speakers.
That’s comedy gold. Did not buy one…it sold out immediately.
