I’ve just revised the Vonnegut entry, and cleaned that up. I figure I need some time to polish that up. Hope you like it. And if you smoke, light up a Pall Mall in his honor.
Yesterday was the day when one hurdle was cleared, and that was for the CompTIA A+ certification. I passed the Core Hardware segment and in a few weeks, I will take the Operating System portion. After that, I’d be certified as a legit computer technician. Got plenty of work to go with studies at Ivy Tech, though.
Right now, I’m fixing up a good friend’s laptop, and it’s quite obsolete. It was bought in 2002 and only has a 20 gig hard drive and has 256 MB of RAM. The RAM is an older version of the SO-DIMM chip (PC 133) and it’s running XP. Will write up something about prolonging the life of your older computer. Stay tuned…
