When does one British football chant and the Ron Paul campaign converge? Here is the answer.

I’ve mentioned the tasty spicy Indian dish and it reminded me of this football chant that is sung by the Brits when the World Cup is approaching. It’s perfect for the guys who would go to the pub for beer…and curry. (That’s right, curry. The British would like to remind you that there is more to the United Kingdom than fish and chips.) This following Fat Les video parodied the Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony:

What made this quite more crazy was the fact the Iowa Caucus is coming up in TWO DAYS and whenever I hear about the Ron Paul groups doing work, I can hear this part:

Me and me Mum and me Dad and me Gran
We’re off to Waterloo
Me and me Mum and me Dad and me Gran
And a bucket of Vindaloo

Which brings me to this: We all know that Fox News is trying to shut us out. For Murdoch and his neo-conservative proponents at FNC, there is too much at stake. So much that Rupert Murdoch has officially joined Hillary’s $2300 club.

So what does a footy chant has something to do with Ron Paul and the New Hampshire exclusion? A piece of advice to us and the Mums and Dads and the Grans: Get out your buckets and head off to Iowa and to New Hampshire. Get out there and canvass the neighborhoods. Thank you all who have done that and will do so when the caucus time rolls around.
