Lipstick: Cle de Peau Extra Rich Lipstick in R1. So frickin’ expensive, but every day I’d reach for it, more than other lipsticks in my stash. This red color suited my NW40 skin very well. I like the formula as well– creamy, pigmented, lip-staining, moisturizing. Another good lipstick I like is Burberry Lip Velvet in Military Red. The price is better than the CdP lipstick.

Eyeshadow: I use a variety of shadows, from indie to high-end. I have various MAC eyeshadows, Too Faced palettes, and a ton of Urban Decay. Got their vintage shadows on clearance, and I have two of their Naked palettes (Original and Smoky).

Setting Powder: Light Reflecting Loose Powder by NARS. It makes your skin less shiny and your pores fade.

Eyeshadow Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I received a small tube of Shadow Insurance at the same time as when I got the Professional Size potion. I figured that I should use up my sample before opening the huge tube. It works very well.

Mascara: I have over eleventy samples of mascara, and I am using them all up rather than spending 20+ bux on a product that must be used within 2-3 months or it must be discarded. Plus, the magazine ads for mascara is total BS. I mean, the model is using falsies to illustrate how much my lashes will be moar fuller and moar longer. To Sephora and other stores: Keep on sending me more of those samples. I am working through my sample of Chanel mascara.

Perfume: Giorgio Armani Prive Pivoine Suzhou. Got that from Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas. It suits me very well. It is not like those cloying sweet fruit trendy celebrity scents that I see at most department stores. I felt too damn old for the Harajuku Lovers series and other related scents. Pivoine Suzhou is an upgrade, with peony, amber, and musk. I got compliments and one Kroger employee wanted a bottle for his sweetheart. When I meet with the Council of Presidents in springtime or with middle management, I want to be SRS BSNS, not ‘Barbie Girl’ frivolous. Too bad this page does not have smell-o-vision so you could smell this wonderful scent.

Skincare: La Prairie. Foam Cleanser with Clarisonic every night, Age Management Balancer for toner, and Anti-Aging Night Cream. I wish I have extra money to buy that set again. Right now, I am using Peter Thomas Roth’s orange cleanser. No cream for now. I know, the people at the Chanel counter at Von Maur are telling me to slather something. I won’t use Philosophy as I had an reaction (puffiness) to their products. Also, never again I would use Kate Somerville– especially ExfoliKate. It burned my skin and I had a rash all over my face.
